Lillibrooke Manor

Wedding rush is over, newlyweds are back from their honeymoon, images are retouched and books are delivered. Perfect time for a nice cup of tea and a short interview with Mrs Joy:

* Please tell us about the theme of your Wedding Day and what inspired you though the whole process?

The theme started with my favourite flowers, Gerberas, and that determined the colour theme. The rest built from there. I did all my own print designs as I have a Design background so I spent many hours in front of a computer screen with a glass of wine designing every last detail. All we wanted from our wedding was a fun and relaxed atmosphere, decide the atmosphere you want for your day and consider that in every single decision, make sure everything works for the atmosphere you want to create.

Almost all of my inspiration came from google images. Search key phrases that you want for your wedding ‘gerbera wedding’ ‘pink & green wedding’ ‘wedding cupcakes’ ‘relaxed wedding’ ‘outdoor wedding’ You’d be surprised how much it helps.

* What would be the most important factors to consider when choosing your wedding photographer?

When choosing Imagininarium as our wedding photographer it came back to the fun & relaxed atmosphere that we wanted to create. We also wanted a company that knew the Lillibrooke Manor venue well.

* Candies with your names printed was such a cute idea, please tell us more.

As favours we had local ale for men and a sweet table for the ladies and kids. Each had an empty bag on their plate inviting them to fill it with their favourites. The personalised m&m’s were a surprise from my brother who works for Mars, but anyone can order them online.
