a short break in Wye Valley

Hello Mamas,

It has been a while … but it looks the worst is behind us and there is a sunshine in the end of the tunnel :) So many people got their first jab already (us including) and every day seems lighter and I feel more secure and brave once again.

We went to visit Wye Valley in Wales few weeks ago. It wasn’t a long vacation, only few days, but gosh so needed. Even slight change of scenery is so refreshing for the soul. I thought you might be interested in few places we found on our way and I would highly recommend to include it onto you summer holiday list :)

We started our trip with some delicious cakes at Dewstow Gardens and Grottoes

We had our B&B booked in Tintern village, a lovely little jewel in Wye Valley with the river going through and magnificent Tintern Abbey ruins near by. We have visited an amazing PuzzleWood Forest, where apparently one of the Star Wars movies was filmed :)

Had some wonderful hikes at Symonds Yat and had very relaxing lunch with a some stunning views literally in the middle of Llanthony Priory ruins.

Have fun exploring and make some fantastic memories this coming summer. x
