“Collection of 25 stitched drawings on embroidery hoops, each with a spear (or two or three) marking a suggested point of contact. The spears are found objects collected and savoured for this purpose. They host a duel identity; strength and weakness. Juxtaposed contradictions. Like the drawings of the same title, they illuminate internal spaces. They exist as imaginings of patterned landscapes, focusing on cellular happenings within the body, specifically, elemental clouds within the female form.”
