Rachel and Nick are such a lovely couple! They’re the kind of people whose presence lingers long after you’ve met them — in the best possible way. It’s as if they carry a little bit of magic with them, making everything and everyone around them shine with enthusiasm, love and kindness. Being able to photograph couples like them is truly one of the greatest joys of my job. ✨

Where did your adorable wedding shoes come from?
I found my wedding shoes online at Perditas Wedding Shoes — a bit of a risk, I know! But I had my heart set on ballet-pump style shoes because I’m quite tall and, honestly, heels and I do not get along. After searching around, I came across their website and instantly fell in love with the perfect pair.
They were reasonably priced, incredibly comfortable, and fit like a dream. And the best part? I still wear them now! A lovely little reminder of our day.

Where did you find your wedding dress, and how many gowns did you try before finding “the one”?
The very first shop I visited was The Bridal House in Aylesbury. I had spent some time browsing online and had a rough idea of the style I liked, but I still went in with an open mind and tried on a variety of dresses. At first, I thought I wanted a white gown, but it made me look a little too pale — so ivory it was! Keeping an open mind really does make all the difference.
I ended up trying on five dresses before I found the one, and as soon as I put it on, I just knew. I didn’t look anywhere else after that… there was simply no point!
I highly recommend The Bridal House — the service was excellent, the team was so friendly, and the dresses were absolutely beautiful.

What is the most important factor to consider when organising the day of your dreams?
For me, the most important thing is having everyone who truly matters to you there — even if it means stretching the budget a little. Our wedding day was so incredible because we had every single person we loved in the same room, and that made it unforgettable.
Another big thing is to make sure you have exactly what you want. When your day reflects you and your partner’s personalities, everyone will instantly feel that it’s your wedding. It makes the whole experience more meaningful — and a lot more fun — when the day feels authentically yours.
