Wedding Season Wrapped: A Chat with Mrs Joy
The wedding rush is finally over! Newlyweds are back from their honeymoon, all images have been carefully retouched, and the beautiful wedding books are safely delivered. With everything settled, it’s the perfect moment to sit down for a short and sweet interview with Mrs Joy, sharing her thoughts and highlights from the big day.

Wedding Theme Inspiration: A Chat with Mrs Joy
When asked about the theme of her special day, Mrs Joy shared that it all began with her favorite flowers, Gerberas, which naturally determined the wedding’s color palette. From there, the rest of the styling flowed effortlessly.
“With a design background, I created all my own print designs,” she explained. “I spent hours in front of the computer, glass of wine in hand, designing every last detail. What we wanted most from our wedding was a fun and relaxed atmosphere. My advice to anyone planning their day: decide the mood you want and make sure every choice—from flowers to stationery—works toward creating that atmosphere.”
Almost all of Mrs Joy’s inspiration came from Google Images. She recommends searching for key phrases such as ‘Gerbera wedding’, ‘pink & green wedding’, ‘wedding cupcakes’, ‘relaxed wedding’, or ‘outdoor wedding’. “You’d be surprised how much it helps,” she adds.

Choosing the Perfect Wedding Photographer: Mrs Joy’s Tips
When asked about the most important factors in choosing their wedding photographer, Mrs Joy highlighted the value of fun, relaxed, and professional photography.
“We wanted Imagininarium to capture the joyful atmosphere of our day,” she explained. “It was also important to us to work with a team familiar with Lillibrooke Manor, our chosen wedding venue. Their knowledge of the space made a huge difference in planning our shots and capturing every special moment beautifully.”

Sweet Wedding Favors: Personalised Candies and More
One of the cutest touches at Mrs Joy and her husband’s wedding was their personalised candy favours. “We had local ale for the men, and a sweet table for the ladies and children,” she explained. “Each guest had an empty bag on their plate, inviting them to fill it with their favourite treats. The personalised M&M’s were a surprise from my brother, who works for Mars—but anyone can order them online!”
This creative idea added a fun, personalised touch to the wedding day while keeping guests entertained and engaged.
