Christmas Wedding
Firstly, Happy New Year to all our readers! It’s hard to believe the festive season has already passed… moments like this make us feel so grateful to Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, the pioneer of photography, for giving us the gift of capturing memories that last a lifetime.
We are excited to share this beautiful wedding celebration, which took place at the stunning Mill Hall in Newbury. For all the brides-to-be looking for inspiration and trusted suppliers, we’ve included a short interview with Auriol about her Big Day.
Auriol’s Gorgeous Wedding Dress
When asked about her stunning wedding gown, Auriol shared: “It was a Sottero and Midgley dress, which I purchased at Silhouettes Bridal Store in Richmond. The shop is small but offers a fantastic range, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and relaxed, letting me try on as many dresses as I wanted — quite a few! By far the friendliest wedding shop I visited.”
Culinary Highlights of the Day
Auriol shared: “Paul Leverton was the master chef for our wedding, and he did a fantastic job! Food was very important to us on the day, and he certainly didn’t disappoint. Our cake was from Marks & Spencer, beautifully decorated by Mani’s mum, Janet.”
Wedding Rings
Auriol and Mani chose their rings from Purely Diamonds, a family-run business with a showroom in Chancery Lane. They shared: “The team was so helpful and made the experience really special for us.”
A Special Surprise – Christian Louboutin Shoes
Auriol shared the story behind her unforgettable shoes: “They are by my favourite designer, Christian Louboutin, and I had been dropping (not so) subtle hints to Emanuele for some time about buying me a pair. He knows Christian through one of his clients and even asked Christian to write a personal note to go with the shoes. They were a complete surprise and needless to say, I wore them for our first dance and all evening!”
This little detail added such a personal and luxurious touch to their wedding day, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
