Mill Hall
Firstly – Happy New Year to all of you! I cant believe the festive season is already in the past…in moments like this I do feel so grateful to Joseph Nicéphore Niépce for developing the beautiful craft of photography – memories which will last a lifetime.
We would like to share this beautiful wedding celebration, which took place at the gorgeous venue of Mill Hall and for all the Brides to be, who are in search for some great suppliers, please enjoy an interview with Auriol:
* Could you please let us know where from you have purchased your gorgeous wedding dress and who is a designer?
It was a Sottero and Midgely dress, I bough it in Sillhouettes bridal store in Richmond. The shop was absolutely fantastic, a tiny little place but with a great range and staff were so friendly, helpful and relaxed about me trying on as many dresses as I wanted (quite a few!). By far the friendliest wedding shop I went to!
* Would be great to know who was the master chef of the Day and the company of your cake.
Paul Leverton was the master chef, and did a fantastic job. Food was pretty important to us on the day and he didn’t disappoint! Our cake was Marks & Spencer’s own, decorated beautifully by Mani’s mum, Janet.
* Who are the designers of your rings?
Our rings were from Purely Diamonds, who also have a show room in Chancery Lane. Again really lovely, a family-run business and they were so helpful.
* Could you please remind me the story of you smashing shoes (the gift from your husband during reception)?
Oh yes, the shoes! They are by my favourite designer, Christian Louboutin, and I had been dropping (not so) subtle hints to Emanuele for some time about buying me a pair. He knows Christian through one of his clients, and asked Christian to write a personal note to go with the shoes. They were a complete surprise and needless to say I wore them for our first dance and all evening!
