The Grange Country House
Roger and Asuno tied the knot in 2014 at the enchanting 14th-century Grange Country House, a luxurious and romantic hidden gem in Northwood. 💛
Their day was filled with love, laughter, and truly heartfelt moments. Roger had five groomsmen, and during the speeches, each of them shared something personal — so moving that I found myself crying a river!
Asuno, originally from Japan, brought beautiful cultural traditions to the celebration. Her mother wore a traditional kimono, rich in symbolism, artistry, and history. It was an absolute honour to witness and capture this special part of their day.
One of the most memorable personal touches? Hundreds of origami swans — painstakingly crafted by Asuno over several months. Now that’s dedication and patience! 📸
From a photography perspective, the day had a few challenges. With limited time for Bride & Groom portraits, the sun had already set by the time they were ready for their shots. My advice to all brides is to reserve at least an hour for couple photos during daylight or around sunset. It might feel like a long time, but these portraits are timeless and worth every minute.
